Last Thursday night we were invited to check out The Distillery. An awesome new company featuring an original Heidelberg letterpress!

We came away with some sweet design samples and it really got us thinking about the possibilities of what we can do.

Also ran into a friend who hails from The Squad which made the night all the more fun!

Received this in the mail out of the blue. It’s an invitation to the opening of Distillery Letterpress. Has a wheel that reveals the various dates and times of the opening.

We are going to check out this place next week as it looks pretty damn cool!

Mind Design | Mind Design is a graphic design studio based in London, UK. The studio was founded by Hoger Jacobs, a graduate of the Royal College of Art.The studio specializes in corporate identity, print, web and interior design. The studio’s client list includes the United Nations, Lacoste, Tea Ltd., Cupcake, River Books and Apostrophe. The images above are from the 2009 catalog design for Tom Dixon. I love the letter caps symbolizing the various materials and the concept of having the products organized by material rather than by product groups. The graphic and visual shapes of the products are beautiful and result in a lovely catalog.

We designed the first bound catalogue for Tom Dixon. Most furniture designers organize their collection by product groups (chairs, tables, lamps, etc). We decided to split Tom’s collection into material groups (steel, copper, brass, etc) as he often produces many different items with the same industrial production method. Photography by: Henry Bourne | Styling by: Faye Toogood

New promotional book for the studio I work in. My favourite part is the colourful ‘blob’ things!

A6 size.

Subscription leaflet to LIFE magazine from 1957. The design still looks awesome.

Found it hidden in the pages of an old issue here in the office!
